Summer 2023 Research Meeting

MSILDG research meetings are historically informal, interesting, informative and inspiring. 


The 2023 MSILDG Summer Research Meeting is a 3-day conference and will take place at Churchill College, Cambridge, 8-10 August 2023. The meeting is primarily an in-person event, with online attendance possible for delegates who are unable to travel to Cambridge.

*We are accepting group registrations whereby one person can register and pay for multiple individuals, for example, where this will help with currency exchange.  Please get in touch to confirm details if you are taking this route.

Registration fees for in-person attendance, which includes access to all sessions, coffee/tea breaks, lunch and the conference banquet are listed below.


RSC member regular delegate: £320

Non-RSC member regular delegate: £350

RSC member student delegate: £200

Non-RSC member student delegate: £220

Abstract submission

Abstracts should be submitted on the template provided and emailed to the group Secretary, Ian McPherson (i.mcpherson@lboro.ac.uk), making sure to indicate at the bottom of the template whether it is intended for an oral presentation, a poster or an online presentation.
